Smiling Faces and Real People.
Our friendly greeters are excited to welcome you and help you find your way. You'll see people from all ages, cultures, and backgrounds—so come just as you are. Grab a cup of coffee, linger in the lobby, and don’t be shy—say hello and meet someone new!

A Little Singing, Prayer, and a Message from the Bible.
Our services last a little over an hour—though our vibrant East African community often enjoys lingering a bit longer! We’ll sing together, pray for real needs, and explore what the Bible says about who Jesus is and his practical guidance for our lives. After the service, our prayer team is available if you’d like someone to pray with you, and pastors and staff are ready to answer questions. Just look for someone wearing a name tag—we’re here to help!

Frequently Asked Questions
What’s BelPres really like?
We are a community of diverse ages, backgrounds, and cultures that come together on Sunday mornings and various times during the week to learn what it means to reflect Jesus and love like Jesus loved. We aren't perfect, but that's the whole point. We rely on Jesus, who is perfect and committed to forgiving, and we grow together however imperfectly as we follow him.
Is this a place for my whole family?
Yes! One of our core values is to support families. We know raising a family today is hard. We strive to make our events, community, and discipleship opportunities accessible to families and people of all ages whenever possible. If you have kids, we encourage you to find out more about our Kids ministry here and Students ministry here.
Who makes the decisions?
We are led by a session of elders elected by the congregation who serve for three-year terms, praying for and leading the church. We think this accountability is one of the great things about being a Presbyterian church. Meet our current elders. BelPres members affirm their Christian faith, while BelPres ordained leaders (pastors, elders, deacons) affirm their Christian faith, along with our theological and denominational heritage. BelPres leaders seek to follow Jesus’ example and teaching as we focus on the most central aspects of Biblical faith and celebrate our oneness and diversity in the Body of Christ. As stated here, we lead with relationship, trust the Holy Spirit to guide believers into truth, and welcome conversation about BelPres teaching and practices.
What denomination are you?
BelPres is part of the Reformed theological tradition and the Presbyterian Church (USA) denomination. We are grateful for the theology and accountability of our denomination, while also not being too tied down by church culture. We are committed to follow both the Bible and the Spirit.
I am skeptical of Jesus, can I still come?
Absolutely. We all started from somewhere and are all still growing. Jesus invites all kinds of people -- politicians, lawyers, prostitutes, faith-filled and faithless alike to the table. If you are wanting to learn more about who Jesus is and what he is about, we have a class called Alpha that walks anyone through the basics.
What is my purpose in this community?
First, it’s to experience and receive the undeserved love of Jesus. From there, we take on the mission of Jesus to participate with him in his kingdom work because we think it's beautiful and the hope of the world. To find out more of what Jesus' kingdom looks like, watch Scott share.
What do people wear?
We offer three diverse styles of worship (Modern Worship, East African Praise, and Traditional Worship) that attracts a diverse group of people and attire. We love it that way. We'd love for you to come as you are.
Why is there an African community within BelPres?
That’s a long, beautiful story, but it was for sure a God thing. Head over to their community's page to learn their story and why they are a vital part of BelPres Church.
