Bold

Being bold in how we follow Jesus is not the same thing as being belligerent. Bold is courage rooted in trusting a very big God. We are bold not because of who we are but because of who he is and what he does. It’s not about trying harder to be bold. It’s about experiencing the presence of Jesus that makes us willing to obey Jesus, take risks, speak truth, love sacrificially, forgive generously, cross boundaries, and step into the unknown. Boldness frees us from worry and fear because it unleashes God’s power and when we see how big God is, our problems and worries seem smaller in comparison.
